Introducing Amante Amore. Translating to love love love in Latin, our new creative director Therese Rawsthorne’s debut collection was inspired by travel and the culture embedded in lands afar, exploring the love and desire of discovery.
Our it girl of the season, internationally successful, Australian actress and model Abbey Lee Kershaw fronts the campaign, embodying the essence of sass & bide with sophistication and a streak of rebellion.
Taking notes from French-Moroccan decadence and ‘70s rock’n’roll, the collection is injected with sumptuous silks, delicate tulles, modern drapery, celestial prints and ornate embellishments.
Therese’s designs pay homage to the rich legacy of our brand with key items such as the deconstructed flag skirt and top, a sequin-striped, tailored pantsuit and love-worn denim. Gold-toned harnesses drape elegantly over the bodice to frame the figure, while fringed, embroidered and hand-beaded garments can be pared-down by day and dressed up after dark. The collection is full of rich luxurious textures, bold colour and designed to be worn in our signature layered styling.
“Amante Amore was inspired by the essence of sass & bide girl, a travelling free spirit, collecting precious treasures and trinkets wherever she goes. She is a collector of beautiful things, experiences and friendships and epitomises the free spirited nature of sass & bide.”
